Birthdays and christmases and tablets... oh my!

The more I look around Deviant the more convinced I am that I want - nay, I NEED to get a drawing tablet. I had a look around the wacom website, went and changed my pants, then came back and had another look...

I think I could maybe get one after Christmas, as a few relatives rather reliably gift me with personal checks. But if anybody has any recommendations to a first time tablet buyer/user I'd love to hear them!

Face Painting was one of the most fun jobs ever. The only job that was ever any competition was being a merit badge councilor at Camp Rotary. I have fond memories of both, and both ended all too soon.

I'm sad as hell that the face painting job ended a year ago. It's just taken me that darn long to figure out my Mom's phone and post some old pics. o.o;

I've been rather seriously thinking about getting myself a bin of makeup though and getting back into it. I dunno where to go with it though. I was kinda thinking of getting permission to do some local school events & donate whatever doesn't go into maintaining supplies to their art departments.
